It is a rare occasion when you get an opportunity to meet your favourite star. When the star is Virendra Sehwag, imagine the level of excitement.
Manesar Plant volunteers and children from our adopted villages met Sehwag at the IFTAR party in Delhi, organized by our partner NGO, Shikhar.
According to one of the volunteers "Sehwag the cricketer is very different from the Sehwag whom we met. He is very soft spoken, kind hearted person. He infact interacted with us in local haryanvi language"
"He is an amazing person. He shared some interesting experiences and also cracked jokes with us" added another volunteer.
Children presented Sehwag their paintings and invited him to visit Manesar e-Parivartan centre.
Sharing with you some glimpses of excitements.

Maruti Steers Pulse Polio Campaign
In the past few months Maruti has undertaken various activities to create awareness and improve the health of people residing in their adopted villages in Manesar.
Taking a step forward, this time Maruti's Corporate Social Responsibility team joined hands with Public Health Centre of Kasan village. The project undertaken was Pulse Polio drive. This is one of the project where our Corporate Social Responsibility team had established collaboration with government and worked for a cause.
For the Pulse Polio drive apart from covering our adopted villages the activity was also extended to two other villages, Nanarpar & Kho at Manesar. Nukkad Natak was organised a day before to spread awareness among the parents. All the effort paid off, when the doctors managed to cover more than
7200 children across all these villages…
Congartulation Marutians for this wonderful work.
